TÖMER

Ankara University TÖMER Description

TÖMER is the "Turkish and Foreign Language Research and Application Center" of Ankara University. TÖMER also runs several language schools throughout Turkey under the same name and is the largest provider for language courses in Turkey. Accredited certificates and diplomas for the Turkish language are exclusively provided by TÖMER worldwide.
Besides running its own schools TÖMER also collaborates with various language schools worldwide. As one of these collaborators Lal has signed an exclusive and far-reaching cooperation agreement with TÖMER.
Through this agreement we are able to provide official, accredited cetification and diploma examinations for the Turkish language exclusively as the only school in central Europe!
 
European Language Label Award
 
In 2006 TÖMER has received the European Language Label Award for its internet-based remote examination for Turkish (UTS). This award is awarded yearly for innovative language projects.
This new type of remote-examination enables certification- and diploma-examinations to be taken over the internet. This type of online-exam is available exclusively here at Lal.
