GENERAL INFORMATION


Our Terms of Business

Of course here at Lal we also have some "fine print", so please note our general Terms of Business:
 
Inscription: Course inscription has to be in writing on the supplied form. The signed Inscription form is binding.
 
Payment conditions: With the inscription to one of our courses, an inscription fee in the amount of CHF 250.- is due. This inscription fee is deducted from the total course fee on the first bill.
Course fees are payable monthly in advance. The cost for any course materials (Books, Fotocopies, etc.) is NOT included in the course fees.
Outstanding payments will be charged a fee of CHF 50.- with the first payment reminder. Interest on outstanding payments is 10% p.a..
 
Annullation, Cancellation: Annullations are only accepted in writing.
Cancellations up to 30 days prior to the course start are free of charge, there is only an administrative fee of CHF 35.-. Cancellations less than 30 days prior to the course start will be charged according to the following list:

Termination of courses at Lal are possible with a notice period of 30 days given in writing. Course fees up to the end of the notice period are due under any circumstances.
 
The date of the poststamp is relevant.
 
Missed lessons: Missed lessons are not compensated as a rule and fees for missed lessons cannot be reimbursed.
If, for private lessons, cancellation of a lesson is not performed at least 48 hours prior to the given lessons, then reimbursement for those lessons is not possible.
 
Course accomplishment: Places in courses are allotted according to the order of inscriptions (given that due payments are received on time). Should the minimal number of participants for a course not be reached, then the course will generally be cancelled and the course fees will be reimbursed. Upon agreement with the remaining participants it can be decided to hold the course with a lesser number of participants, but at a higher price.
We reserve the right to change the dates and/or times of courses, combine courses, or cancel courses for organizational reasons.
 
Attestation: All course participants will receive an attestation free of charge after successful completion of at least 80% of the course lessons.
 
Liability, Insurance: All course participants are responsible for their own insurance. Lal language school is not liable for any theft, loss of belongings or any other kind of damage to participants or their belongings.
 
The right to changes of program, prices and the Terms of business is reserved.
